- The project team develops the preferred solution into a detailed methodology, in addition to preparing drawings, cost estimates, project schedules and other deliverables.
- If required, Engtech will submit an application for a DG or Explosives Licence with DMIRS on the client’s behalf.
- For ‘unusual’ DG systems, a ‘First Principles Risk Assessment’ may be required.
During the Define Stage, Engtech perform a compliance assessment of the DG depot or design against the DG Regulations and applicable Australian Standards, and where required, apply for a new or amended DG Licence.
Engtech are also equipped to facilitate ‘First Principle Risk Assessment’ stakeholder meetings, and often provide risk assessment worksheets and meeting reports as deliverables.
By engaging Engtech during the Select and Define stages, proposed designs and solutions can be checked for compliance with the DG Regulations and Australian Standards before any construction costs are incurred.
